RR-H2O Bacteriostatic Water

Sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, supplied for reconstituting lyophilized powder at the bench. The preservative allows a multi-use vial to be drawn from repeatedly under refrigeration without becoming a culture medium. Not appropriate where benzyl alcohol would interfere with the assay — use preservative-free water in that case.
