Terms of sale

These terms govern every order placed with Rensa Research LLC through rensaresearch.com. They sit alongside our research-use terms, which take precedence wherever the two differ.

1. Accounts

Product specifications, pricing and ordering require a free research account. Registration is immediate; we do not operate an approval queue. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

Certificates of analysis are public and always will be. Nothing about the account gate applies to lot verification.

2. Orders and acceptance

A submitted order is an offer to buy, not a concluded contract. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch. Until then we may decline or cancel any order — for example where stock is exhausted, a price or specification was published in error, payment cannot be verified, or we have reason to doubt the research-use representations. Where we cancel, we refund in full.

3. Prices

Prices are in US dollars, exclude shipping and any applicable tax, and are those displayed at the moment you place the order. Volume discounts apply automatically per line item: 5% from 5 vials, 10% from 10 vials, 15% from 25 vials of the same compound. There are no coupon codes. Larger volumes are quoted through a wholesale account.

Obvious pricing errors are not binding. If a listing is plainly wrong, we will contact you before charging anything and you may cancel without penalty.

4. Payment

Card details are never entered on rensaresearch.com. Payment is handled off this domain — on a specialist processor's own hosted page, or by bank transfer for institutional accounts — and we neither see nor store card numbers. Orders are created before payment; nothing ships until payment clears. Title and risk pass on delivery to the address you gave us.

5. Delivery

We ship within the United States only. Dispatch timing, packaging and carrier terms are set out in the shipping policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; we are not liable for carrier delay, but we will replace or refund a shipment that is lost in transit.

6. Conformity and returns

Each lot conforms to the specification on its published certificate of analysis. If it does not, the returns and refunds policy sets out what we do, including reimbursing an independent test that contradicts ours. Because these are research chemicals, opened vials cannot be returned for reasons other than non-conformity.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including certificates as published documents, belongs to Rensa Research LLC. You may reproduce a certificate for your own records, for your institution's records, or in a publication that identifies the lot — that is what it is for. You may not present our certificates as covering material you did not buy from us.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here affects consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.
