Who tests these, and can I see the results before I buy?

Every lot is sampled and sent to Janoshik Analytical, an independent analytical laboratory with no commercial interest in the result. The certificate is posted to our lot lookup before the lot goes on sale, so you can read the full panel — HPLC purity, mass-spec identity, endotoxin, heavy metals and water content — without an account and before you spend anything. If a lot number doesn't resolve on this site, we are not selling it.

What happens to a batch that comes back under 99%?

It is rejected, not discounted. There is no B-grade tier here and no "value" listing where an out-of-spec lot quietly reappears at a lower price. Under-spec material is destroyed or returned to the synthesis facility.

Question 3

What if my own third-party test disagrees with your certificate?

Accepted Answer

Send us the report. If an accredited lab's result on our lot falls below the specification on our certificate, we refund the order in full and reimburse the cost of your test. We would rather pay for one contested test than defend a bad lot.

What does the certificate actually cover?

Accepted Answer

Purity by RP-HPLC at 220 nm against a ≥ 99% specification; identity by ESI mass spectrometry against the theoretical mass; bacterial endotoxin by LAL under USP <85>; heavy metals by ICP-MS; water content by Karl Fischer; and appearance. The panel is the same for every peptide lot, so certificates are comparable across compounds and across time.

Why do I need an account to see prices?

Research chemicals sit in a category where open, indexed price lists attract the wrong traffic and get suppliers de-platformed. Gating pricing behind a free account keeps the catalog in front of researchers and out of shopping comparison engines. Registration takes about a minute, costs nothing, and access is immediate — no approval queue, no purchase required. Certificates stay public either way.

Is there volume pricing?

Yes, and it applies automatically at the cart — no coupon codes. 5% from 5 vials of the same compound, 10% from 10 vials of the same compound, 15% from 25 vials of the same compound. Beyond that, wholesale and institutional accounts get quoted tiers, net-30 terms and the full certificate set attached to the invoice.

How do I pay?

Card processing in this category is restricted — Stripe, PayPal, Square and Shopify all prohibit it — so payment is handled off our domain by a specialist processor, or by bank transfer for institutional accounts. We never host a card form and never store card details. Your order is created first and confirmed by email with the payment method attached.

How fast does it ship, and how is it packed?

Orders confirmed before 2 pm CT on a business day dispatch the same day. Vials travel in insulated mailers with gel packs. Free US shipping over $200; otherwise a flat $12. Tracking is emailed as soon as the label is created.

Does the cold chain matter if the package sits on a doorstep?

Lyophilized peptide is stable at ambient temperature for the length of a domestic transit — the gel packs are there for margin, not necessity. What matters is what happens after: get sealed vials to -20 °C, and once reconstituted keep them at 2–8 °C and use within 30 days. Storage guidance specific to each compound is on its product page.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not currently. Everything ships from US stock to US addresses. Import rules for research chemicals vary sharply by country and we would rather not have your order seized.

What does research use only actually mean here?

Accepted Answer

It means these compounds are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research and development. They are not for human or veterinary use, consumption or application, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Rensa Research is a chemical supplier — not a pharmacy, not a 503A compounding pharmacy, not a 503B outsourcing facility — and it does not provide medical advice. Ordering requires you to be 21 or older and to accept the research-use terms.

Can you tell me how much to use?

No. We publish concentration data and let you calculate mg/mL for a reconstitution, and that is where our involvement ends. Any question that starts "how much should I take" is one we will not answer, in any channel.

What do you do with my details?

Accepted Answer

We use them to fulfil orders, to reach you if a lot is recalled, and — only if you opted in — to tell you when new certificates are posted. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone. The recall list is deliberately separate from marketing email so that unsubscribing from one never removes you from the other.

Can I get a copy of the certificate for a lot I already received?

Any time. The lot number is on the vial label and the packing slip; enter it at /verify and the full panel loads. Certificates stay online after a lot sells out — we never take one down.
